THERE ARE PLENTY MORE FISH IN THE SEA
"There are plenty more fish in the sea" is an expression that has always intrigued me. When I started to think about it, I realised there are a lot of proverbs and phrases relating to fish and probably in every culture. This led me to think about our relationship with creatures that live in the sea. My work presents such aquatic animals in the four sights of life in Buddhism: birth, old age, sickness and death. This circle mirrors our own life cycle and takes a Buddhist view point.
