FREE SPIRIT

'Free Spirit is a solo exhibition that took place at Tribes Community, Bangkok, Thailand in January 2020. It investigates the feelings of letting go of ego. Ego determines what we regard as failure and success in our lives. It moulds our desires and nourishes greed while perpetuating delusion. This ultimately breeds dissatisfaction which only brings suffering. To suppress the malign effects of ego we must first learn to question our attachment to things, to people and to ideas. It is important to detach ourselves from the ideas of self and from those of others as well as from ‘group think’ that reinforces stereotypes and entrenched opinions. Our thoughts and ideas must be guided by wisdom
